Method of close reading, as a kind of text interpretation method, have been paid great attention in language teaching research in recent years, has been more widely used in middle school Chinese reading teaching. But in Chinese teaching practice, some unsatisfactory phenomenon still exists. Paper from Anglo-American new criticism "read" semantic and Sun Shenzhen inspired by close reading of the theory and practice, combines the actual conditions of junior middle school language reading teaching, analyzes the method of close reading in the junior middle school Chinese reading teaching use of the status quo, put forward "with the text, to the students as the main body, teacher as dominant, with dialogue as the core, good Lord questions" teaching principle, and then from the "where to read" and "how to read" two aspects put forward the concrete application strategy, for it is helpful to the improvement of Chinese reading teaching.
