Research On Effective Teaching Between Junior And Senior Biology Textbook Of PEP

In the essay, I have made the research in the biology teaching connections between the junior and senior middle school according to the edition of the Compulsory Education Curriculum Standard published in 2011, and the new biology teaching materials for Junior Grade Seven and Grade Eight published by the People’s Education Press in the falls of 2012 and 2013 as well as the new biology textbooks of high school. In this paper, by the comparison of the old and new biology curriculum standards of junior middle school, biology curriculum in junior and senior middle school, and PEP biology new textbooks in junior middle school and senior high school, I finally have obtained the research. The third chapter lists the important concepts of biology in the new curriculum of junior middle school as the starting point. By analyses, I have found the teaching connections between the contents in the junior and senior high school. In the fourth chapter, I analyse and make a teaching design that can be applied to the connection of the biology teaching in the junior and senior high school, providing teaching reference for new teachers or the teachers who have been teaching in senior high school for a long term so that they can get rapid access to the related contents. In the fifth chapter one lesson is separately selected from the junior and senior biology textbooks as a case analysis, expecting readers can understand how to make advantage of the research results in the third and the fourth chapters better (in all,13 forms about the teaching connection). I hope the essay can be as the foundation for the further research in the biology teaching connection between the junior and senior middle school.
