The biology teaching of the full-time ordinary senior middle school is a high-level biology education based on nine-year compulsory education. Therefore, connecting the biology teaching of senior middle school with the biology teaching of junior middle school organically is the necessary step and method to narrow the gap between the biology teaching of senior middle school and the biology teaching of junior middle school and to improve the quality of the biology teaching in middle schools.Adopting the ways of investigating and comparing, we expounds the Teaching Convergence of biology in middle schools from three aspects: the students'learning style, the curriculum standard of biology and the textbooks'compling. The results are as follows: the main learning styles of students are Assimilation type and Polymerization type, the students'brain power on abstraction and generalization develops continually with age. There are gender differences in students of middle schools. In the respect of curriculum standard, junior middle school stresses the universality of propaedeutics, senior middle school thinks highly of students'individual development.In the respect of textbooks'compling, the biology textbooks of middle schools pay attention to students'age and their logical thinking ability. Research activities are increased in the new biology textbooks. Most experiments in senior middle school biology textbooks are investigative experiments which need students to explore independently. The specialization of the content of biology textbook is strengthened by degrees. The exercises are various in forms and their degree of difficulty is increased. In the respect of expressing, accuracy, strictness and normativeness are required.Based on the above results, only imparting knowledge according to students'learning styles, strengthen efforts on the Biological science literacy, balancing the teaching goal of middle schools, establishing platform on exchanging and cooperation , we able to achieve the goal of biology teaching convergence in middle schools. As the enforcer of biology curriculum reforming, the teachers should set up the idea of lifelong education for students, respect students'individual difference, enhance the relation and communication between senior middle school and junior middle school, balance the teaching goal of middle schools, make the best use of curriculum resource of biology in middle schools, and ensure that the new biology curriculum reform in middle schools progresses smoothly.
