As we know, time is very important in education and it is an aspect that can’t be ignored. Teacher provides service for students needing time and student also need time to study, so attaching importance to the time management is a need in education. Therefore, this essay investigates how the students and teachers using the classroom time, their time concept and classroom activities. It also analysis the situation of classroom time in the fact of teaching. The theories of this study are bases on the time management in teaching, the new curriculum ideas and the previous studies of teaching time management. The investigation and analysis methods are literature research, questionnaire survey, interview, observation and so on.Through the survey, it finds that the consciousness of classroom time management is weak and the classroom time utilization is not full. The reasons are as following:teachers’ classroom time management consciousness, teachers teaching ability, schools’ teaching management system and students’ factor.In order to improve the classroom time management, this essay puts forward four suggestions:the first is strength the time management conscious in concept; the second is to improve the teaching plan in design; the third is to improve the teaching effective in the teaching process; the fourth is focusing on the effectiveness of time management in evaluation.
