| With accelerating the pace of China’s socialist modernization, moral education has increasingly become the need of social progress. Because of the complexity of the society in our country, the current moral education system still exists some loopholes, and it is mainly highlighted the performance of some college students’ weak moral independence. In this background, this paper aims at solving the problem of college students’moral independent ability by using a new method of education service learning to cultivate the moral independence of students.In the 1960s, rising in the United States, service learning education discusses the role of service learning on college students’moral independent training, and analyses the connotation of service learning and characteristics on the basis of Dewey’s experience education theory to create conditions for moral independent ability. By using the method of service learning, we can design teaching effective experiment and cultivate college students’independent autonomy ability according to the experimental results. It can combine theory with practice, and makes a combination of classroom and community. In service learning, the students are the main body. They can reflect courses and practice content mutually, and improve self-awareness in the process. The experimental results shows that service learning can improve students’moral independence, encourage students to learn self-regulation, and make the right choice of self behavior in order to solve the problem of college students’moral dilemma.This paper is divided into four parts, and the first chapter is introduction. It mainly consists the issues and the significance of research to analyze the current status of social research. The second chapter discusses the relevant meaning of service learning ability and moral independence, and explains its theoretical basis. The third chapter is the experimental stage. Using the method of service learning, and analysis of experimental data, it can lay a foundation for future study. The fourth chapter is conclusions and suggestions on cultivating college students’ moral independence ability in order to extend the role of service learning on the role of moral autonomy ability. |
