With the constant development of educational reform in our country, university physical education has continuously required to permeate modern teaching theory. Carrying out "quality education", "health first" guiding ideology, comprehensive promotion of "quality education" and the implementation of "health education" has been the subject of physical education in colleges and universities in the new century. Improving national quality and cultivating talents to adapt to the socialist modernization construction, colleges and universities sports education bears the glorious and sacred mission."Integration of inside and outside class teaching ", a new type of teaching mode, has been emerging in recent years in sports teaching of colleges and universities of our country. "Integration" teaching is a new sports teaching system of classroom teaching as the main body, of which sports class extension activities and good environment are the two wings. "Integration of inside and outside class teaching" has integrated classroom teaching and extracurricular exercise together, in- class driving after- class, which is a complete teaching system to promote the development of the classroom through after-class activities and to stimulate students’ interest in learning, training students’ physical exercise habit and lifelong sports consciousness.The article uses the literature material method, experimental method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, mathematical statistics and logical induction of six kinds of research methods, based on the research status at home and abroad, to make a detailed analysis of the basic principle and the theoretical basis of "integration of inside and outside class" teaching. Therefore, it has confirmed theoretically "integration" teaching in physical education teaching is feasible.This study selected 60 students of martial arts optional class of Anhui technical college of mechanical and electrical for a decade of teaching experiment. The experimental class students in the teaching using "integration" teaching method while in comparative classes students use conventional teaching method, through which the students from the two classes would be compared before and after the test in physical quality, learning interest, holding good sports habits, skills, and mental health changes as follows in conclusions:1. PE lesson "integration" teaching, which can make the classroom teaching and extracurricular learning combined appropriately, make in-class and after-class teaching be in harmony for an integrated whole and improve the quality of teaching,is superior to the traditional teaching mode.2. PE lesson "integration" teaching is beneficial to the students’ aptitude. It can stimulate the students’ learning interest, learning initiative and enthusiasm and develop independent learning ability, practical ability and innovative spirit.3. PE lesson "integration" teaching can help students improve physical qualities and mental health.4. PE lesson "integration" teaching is helpful to improve the students’ sports awareness and ability and train the students to get into the habit of lifelong exercise.According to the research conclusion this thesis puts forward the following Suggestions to promote the quality of the school sports teaching, enhance the students’ healthy physique, and arouse the students’ interest in sports participation.1. Standardize colleges and universities sports teaching management, system security and actively promote the teaching pattern of physical education lesson "integration".2. PE teachers in colleges and universities, scientifically and reasonably apply " integration" teaching mode, according to the specialized characteristics. 3. Colleges and universities strengthen material guarantee and constantly bring forth the sports teaching "integration" class.
