The development of education is important for the development of economic. In this contemporary knowledge-based economy society, higher vocational education, as an indispensable part of higher education, is becoming more and more important. With the constant development of higher vocational education in recent years, the competition between universities were getting increasingly fierce. The competition is the faculty competition and the talent competition between higher vocational colleges. To improve the faculty effectively and to retain talent and stimulate the teachers’ work enthusiasm and initiative has become one of the major problem of higher vocational colleges. The effective of the Motivation System of higher vocational colleges is important for solving this issue. Therefore, to research and design a set of suitable Teachers’ Motivation System for higher vocational college has a realistic significance to stimulate the teachers’ enthusiasm and maintain the stability of teachers and realize the strategic goals of the college.Targeting SM College which is located in Shandong province, this article aimed at the Systematic analysis of Teachers’ Motivation System for SM College.Primarily, literature analysis method was used to summarize the existing important theories by reviewing the international and domestic motivation principles. The thesis introduces the related concepts and theories about motivation. The process theory of motivation, such as Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, Herzberg’s two factor theory, Equity theory of Adams, Forum’s theory of expectation, Skinner reinforcement theory and synthesized theory, are included in the work. The characteristics of SM college teachers and the employment system, compensation system, evaluation system, training system, and the present situation of the incentive system are disserted by data collection and interviews. And according to the characteristics of SM college teachers, as well as the present situation of teacher inspiring, with the aid of two-factor theory, the incentive problems of SM college teachers are disserted by using the method of questionnaire investigation and statistics. Mainly reflected in:the execution of the teachers’ employment is not strong enough, the way of incentives is single, lack of humanization, the effect of salary incentive is poor, the evaluation system is not scientific enough, training system needs to be improved.Finally, aiming at the existing problem of teachers’ incentive in SM college, and combining the incentive theory, this article puts forward a set of suitable improvement scheme of Teachers’ Motivation System for SM College. Mainly includes the general thoughts and rules in establishing the Teachers’ Motivation System for SM College. Principles, such as people oriented, varying from individual to individual, fair, open and just, material incentive and spirit incentive, timely incentive and long-term incentive, college needs and teachers’ needs are combined as in this work. Then this article construct the Teachers’ Motivation System for SM College according to the general thoughts and rules from four aspects including improving the teacher appointment system, improving the teacher performance management system, establish reasonable compensation distribute system and perfecting the teacher training system.
