To promote all students in all aspects, teachers need to recombine teaching contents and present them to students, which is based on the chemistry curriculum standard, the law of students’ development and utilizing limited teaching resource, and which is after that teachers use their limited understanding, analysis, and judgment on the teaching content. Otherwise, education and teaching will appear the excessive phenomenon, such as being overweight, being above students’ level, being overtime and so on. Or education and teaching will apper the insufficient phenomenon, such as being blind and being lacking in effects. In a word, chemistry teaching is limited, and teaching behaviors are also limited. They are limited and influenced by chemistry curriculum standard, teaching objectives, teaching and learning subjectives, teching and learning resources, the teaching period, etc. Based on a large number of related literatures and on learning a lot of related theories, the paper analyzed the limitations of chemistry teaching behaviors, went into senior middle school chemistry classes and found that teachers’ behaviors and related ideas had shortcomings. Through further investigation, we found teachers’ shortcomings of teaching behaviors as that they are lacking in the guidance of related scientific theories, that they are maily based on teching experience, that they are filled by technicalization, that they are prominently restricted and that they are short of breakthrough. Therefore, chemistry teachers should attach importance to studying education and teaching theories, to intensifying the idea of teaching behaviors being limited, to perfecting their teaching behaviors and to teaching according to students’ abilities. And in the end, we will realize efficient chemistry teaching together.
