The curriculum reform is now in full swing. learning styles. such as independence, cooperation and exploration are the focus. Group cooperation learning is one of the most effective and frequently-used teaching methods, and is popular among more and more teachers and students. This teaching method has the advantage that others have not. It is used to strengthen cooperative and competition consciousness, communicative competence, autonomous learning, and at the same time improve students’ interest in study. But any teaching method is not almighty, there also exist many problems in group cooperation learning. It needs to combine with the traditional teaching method. By reviewing the present situation research of group cooperation learning and the trational teaching learning styles, most of them are about the disadvantages of the two theaching methods, but seldom of them is about the comparison, especially the two teaching methods in the high school mathematics teaching for comparison. This article will compare the effection between the traditional teaching method and the group cooperation learning using literature researching, comparison experiment method, case analysis, and questionnaire survey method.The whole text is divided into four chapters:Chapter One: This section has a discussion about the reason why this project is studied, what methods have been adopted in the study, and the current situation of group cooperation learning in China and foreign countries.Chapter Two: This section theoretically analyses group cooperation learning and traditional teaching method. It Mainly studies the connotation of cooperative learning, cooperative learning theory, the theoretical basis of the traditional teaching method,and the characteristics of the traditional teaching method.Chapter Three: The author uses experiments, selecting two math classes in high school, one class as the experimental class, the other class for as comparative classes, group cooperative learning teaching method is used for the experimental class, the traditional teaching methods that in comparative classes. At the beginning of the term for the two classes have a test first, and then separately use their respective teaching methods for a semester of teaching, and have a test again, and through the questionnaire survey, detailed analysis of the advantages of cooperative learning in classroom teaching and the existing shortcomings.Chapter Four: The conclusion. According to the second part of the experiment and analysis, analyse high school mathematics teaching mode selection and application. The countermeasures to solve the problem of cooperative learning group, the organic combination of team cooperation and the traditional teaching methods.
