Since the new curriculum reformation came into effect in Guizhou province in 2010, the new mathematics teaching material for senior high school has increased the contents of thinking and exploration which play a very important role in the new mathematics teaching material. These contents offer autonomous learning space and chances for students. But in reality, some teachers didn’t organize students to put the contents into practice. So this survey did statistics and classified thinking and exploration in compulsory textbook 1 to textbook 5 and elective textbooks 2-1、2-2、2-3, then summarized and refined the important contents and carried out micro teaching courses design, or gave teaching advice according to author’s teaching experience. In order to cultivate students’ interest in learning, ability of mathematical thinking and ability of solving practical problems, we need to change teachers’ teaching concepts, study teaching standards and set up reasonable teaching aims.
