Higher vocational colleges both in size or number of institutions have been accounted for more than half of the country’s higher education, undertaking the responsibility of the popularization of higher education in china. Due to the fact of short history of higher vocational colleges, not mastering the regulation of higher vocation and talents training, higher demand of popularization talents in the further adjustments of our industrial structure, vocational colleges with limited excellent teaching resources have to face up with a big severe challenge. With the advent of Massive Open Online Courses, through the media of Internet, excellent courses from elite Higher Institutions can be shared on the platform of MOOCs. Therefore, how to find out the opportunities as well as the challenges that MOOCs bring to the Higher Vocational colleges, how to effectively integrate MOOCs into the teaching process of Higher Vocational Colleges, which can be considered to be the essential task for Higher Vocational Colleges’ teaching research.This paper starts from the point of Higher Vocational Colleges lacking of good teaching resources in the economic transition, MOOCs platforms collecting massive open high-quality teaching resources, analyzing the opportunities and challenges that MOOCs at home and abroad bring to traditional Higher Institution and its teaching model, so as to come up with constructive suggestions to settle out correlated issues.Throughout the whole research, a lot of reading and comparison has been done on MOOCs setting ideals and MOOCs platforms operating. By analyzing the Mastery learning theory, Constructivist learning theory, Humanism learning theory, Connectivism learning theory, I try to find out the most ideal learning theory as the backup for the integration between MOOCs and Higher Vocational Colleges teaching. By using the comparative analysis method, case study method as well as literature analysis method, combined the deductive analysis and summary, the advantages and disadvantages that MOOCs bring to Higher Vocational Colleges have been discovered, which set a foundation for the coming constructive suggestions.This research finally comes up with some constructive suggestions for Higher Vocational Institutions in the trend of MOOCs, namely, clarifying the goal of talents cultivation, taking fully advantages of MOOCs resources, boldly applying the MOOCs flipped classroom, developing school-based MOOCs curriculum, building the cooperative platform for schools and enterprises. In the process of integration between MOOCs and Higher Vocational schools’ teaching, we need to further enhance the cooperation between schools and enterprises, so that we can ensure the theoretical knowledge and skill that students acquired in Higher Vocational Colleges being fully applied in the specific working place.In view of this, the paper aims at exploring the regulations of MOOCs and talents cultivation of Higher Vocational Colleges. Trying to figure out their intersection point, can we improve the teaching system as well as the quality of talents cultivation of Higher Vocational Colleges?...
