Urban and rural dual system brings a group of left-behind children.Because of the separation of parents and children, left-behind children have a lot of problems in the process of growth. But less parent-child interaction, which leads to the lack of family education, is still the foundamental roots in left-behind children problem factors. In February 2015, the chairman of our nation,Xi Jinping, put forward the important speech about construction of family. The family education is family affair as well as social engineering.,which deserves more attention on the family education of left-behind children.The research,with reviewing and summarizing the existing literature about left-behind children and family education, studys on this question from two aspects of theory and practice.Based on the related theoretical knowledge,the survey chooses the left-behind children from Miao-qian town in hubei province as the object of investigation research.The survey found the fact that their family structure fractured, the family education lacked, which bings influence in their studies, psychology, life and safety.The research also found that there is a lot of deviation and the insufficiency in the education idea of left-behind children parents. Local schools take less steps for left-behind children education problem because of the lack of education resources.Government and community organizations have less concern for the left-behind children family education.At this point, this study comes up with the ways to solve the problem of lack of family education of left-behind children. When comes to political system,we should carry out the reform of the household registration system and concentrate on the development of rural economy. Due to the hysteresis of policy implementation, this paper also puts forward some another measures: for the family, parents should focus on the family culture, create a complete and harmonious family atmosphere; For a school, they should strengthen family education guidance,and focus on left-behind children’s physical and mental health; For community and social organization, they should promote the family education idea vigorously, and set up guardianship system.
