With the further deepening of China’s curriculum reform, to promote the comprehensive development of students, especially their nutritional and healthy development aroused much public attention. As a prerequisite for students to learn scientific and cultural knowledge, their nutrition and health is not only the basis for lifelong healthy development, but also the fundamental guarantee for the completion of our country’s modernization. But at present, the nutritional status of students is not optimistic, our nutrition education lags behind. Only by strengthening nutrition education, construction of school nutrition education system and carry out nutrition branch courses can improve their physical quality and nutrition level.After studying the domestic and foreign literature related to nutrition education, investigating relevant study of Jincheng area in Shanxi province, the article is trying to comprehensively grasp the circumstances of China’s students’ nutritional status and nutritional status of primary school education, demonstrate the necessity, importance and feasibility of offering food nutrition branch course in primary school, and on this basis, explore the construction of a primary school food nutrition course system, hoping to provide the beneficial reference for the opening of this lesson. This paper covers five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, including the research background,the theoretical basis,the research purpose, significance and method.The second chapter is the definition of related concepts of this study and literature review.The third chapter aims to analysis the current nutrition education problems by researching the nutritional status and nutritional status of primary school education in Jincheng area, providing the practical basis for the curriculum setting.The fourth chapter analyzes the environment of opening food nutrition branch course, demonstrate the the necessity, importance and feasibility.The fifth chapter demonstrate the construction of the food and nutrition course from the aspect of curriculum development,curriculum implementation,and curriculum protection,invite the experts identified the contents and objectives.
