All along, our school physical education courses are using a unified management system. However, regional differences, multi-ethnic and cultural differences, adaptability and practicality course, determines the school physical education curriculum and teaching materials using a unified model of limitations, in recent years, the level of students’ physical health declined year by year, so the development of the students adapt demand based curriculum, improve students’ physical fitness level of the current situation and trends, has important significance. Related policies have focused content development curriculum reform of primary and secondary school-based curriculum, and to give assurance in the system.This study selected Chongqing Nankai Middle School Division for the study, sports group related to leadership, and physical education teachers in charge of the interviewee, the use of documentation, interviews and research methods, statistics and logical analysis, statistical analysis of the results of the interviews. The school with the main factors affecting the characteristics based curriculum development has led the Board of Education and the school authorities and relevant policies and implementation of specialized physical education teachers, attitudes and interests, venues and facilities and social resources and curriculum experts participating students five aspect. The students found the course prior to the development, physical fitness test every year downward trend, especially in endurance.By improving the school’s physical education curriculum, students good sports interests and habits, to constantly improve the site equipment, strengthen the construction of teachers, families and society should recognize the importance of promoting the development of the physical characteristics based curriculum to improve students actively participate in sports activities, and constantly enhance their physical health..Through the sport mode and the implementation of school-based curriculum of traditional teaching models and physical education curriculum comparative analysis of the situation after, the school in order to accurately reflect the attitude of trends based curriculum development for teachers and students to participate in the body before and after educating school-based curriculum, students physical changes.The school curriculum for problems encountered in the development process, and proposed to promote the continuous improvement of school-based curriculum, the school truly highlight the characteristics of the measures and recommendations. Provide constructive measures and recommendations for Chongqing-based curriculum development of school sports.
