Objective: The research through analysis the subjective well-being of the Uighur rural elderly in Xinjiang,and combined with the level of economic development,national cultural characteristics and other local actual situation to explore the influence factors in order to provide a scientific basis for the improving of their subjective well-being.Methods: This study combined typical sampling and random sampling to determine Shihezi township in Shihezi,Halayugong township in Kuerle,Halabula township in Yili as sample regions,a total of 498 Uighur rural elderly people as research objects.By Using the Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness,General information questionnaire,Social Support Rating Scale and face-to-face survey method to collect questionnaire with elderly who were more than 60 years of age and has local registered permanent residence.The qualitative data use Colaizzi analysis methods;the quantitative data input Epi Data3.1 database after qualified by the double, using SPSS 17.0 statistical software for data arrangement,description and analysis.Results: 1.The results show that MUNSH scores of 498 Uighur rural elderly was 30.43±10.55,it was in the upper level.Among the three region,the differences of subjective well-being in elderly had statistical significance(P<0.01).Along with the increase of the rural per capita net income,the MUNSH had higher scores.The scores of elderly in Halayugong township and Shihezi township are higher than Halabula township.2.Regional economic development level,the new type of rural Insuranee,the new type of rural cooperative medical system security level and housing construction situation will have an effect for the region the subjective well-being of the elderly.3.After multiple linear step-wise regression analysis, the results showed that the main influencing factors which affecting rural Uighur elderly subjective well-being were chronic disease,marital status,social support,personal economic income,frequency of children go home and religious practices and behaviors.4.Among the three region,the differences of social support in elderly had statistical significance,the scores of elderly in Halayugong township and Shihezi township are higher than Halabula township.The MUNSH scores and social support total scores and its each dimension scores had positively correlation relationship(P<0.01). PA,PE and total scores of social support scores and its each dimension scores had positively correlation relationship(P<0.01);NA,NE and total scores of social support and its each dimension scores had negatively correlation relationship(P<0.01).It Suggests that the more social support for seniors,means more positive emotions and positive experience,less negative emotion and negative experiences they have,the higher MUNSH scores they got.Conclusion: The results of this study explain that the subjective well-being of Uighur elderly in Xinjiang rural was in upper level.In macro-scale,it was effect by regional economic development level,the new type of rural Insuranee,the new type of rural cooperative medical system security level,housing construction situation and other benefiting-farmers policy;In micro-scale,restricted by their own conditions and family situation,such as chronic diseases, marital status,social support,personal economic income,frequency of children go home and religious practices and behaviors.
