On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Volunteerism In Xinjiang

The volunteerism initially started in religious charities of the West. The volunteerism is a spiritual form, which is not profit-driven individuals, based on strong sense of social responsibility, as well as determined to serve public welfare and to promote social progress and human development, embodies the strong position of humane care. It is an important part of a person’s moral literacy, the lubricant of a good running society as well as an important symbol of the development of a civilization country.With the great economic achievements since China’s reform and opening up, we also pay attention to the negative effects brought by the national quality of the landslide. The "dedication, friendship, mutual help and progress" as the core of the spirit of volunteering service is an important component part of the socialist core values, can effectively compensate for the negative effects brought by market economy.
