The higher education process fairness is the part of higher education fairness as well as the important part of education fairness and society fairness. With the implementation of the college expansion policy and the realization of the popularization, higher education satisfies ever-growing higher education needs of people at some degree, guarantees people accepting educational rights and opportunities. Though meanwhile, all sectors of society pay more and more attention to higher education fairness and realization of higher education qualitative objective. In recent years, our social development is in period of social transformation, economic income and social status differences of social members closely link with higher education. Social stratification gradually affects higher education starting point, process fairness and ourcome fairness. In view of higher education starting point and outcome fairness has been paid attention and improved, this study hope to show higher education process fairness situation of students from different social stratification through empirical study on S university, further to discuss the influence of social stratification on higher education fairness. This research will play positive role in the realization of higher education fairness, social fairness and social stratification normal flow.This research selects S university as a case, gets amount of relative materials and datum from questionnaire survey and interviewing, applies SPSS17.0 to carry out reliability analysis, correlate analysis, regression analysis and chi-square test to verify hypothesis. The research finds that social stratification is closely linked to the selection of party members, student subsidies, obtaining study aid and part-time job. Social stratification has great influence on the selection of party members, student subsidies, obtaining study aid and part-time job. The advantage of class has more advantages than the disadvantage of class on the selection of party-members and obtaining study aid. The disadvantage of class has more opportunities than the advantage of class on the obtaining student subsidies and part-time jobs. Different social stratifications have different economic capital, cultural capital and social capital, which will have different degree of influence on students’ course learning, research participation, awards recommendation, obtaining study aid, social practice and interpersonal relationships. Base on those finding results, this research puts forward some suggestions, such as country should implement comprehensive social system innovation policy, universities should improve curriculum reform and promote different teaching methods, country increase university student’s scientific research investment and projects, universities should make student’s awards recommendation attitudes right and supervise strictly recommendation process, country should perfect university funding system and increase funding for poor students, universities should increase opportunity of student internship and guide students to self-awareness and education as well as sense of fairness.
