In the current society, preschool education, especially the education that the 3-6- year old children receive at kindergarten, is gaining more and more attention. The kindergarten stage is a crucial period for the children’s intelligence development and also an important formation period of a healthy personality of the children. Games make up the main part of children’s activity. Children are usually stimulated to communicate positively while playing games.Therefore, games play an important role in the children’s growing up to maturity. Joining in a game is the activity that a child makes an effort to take part in an ongoing game, be accepted and then be a part of it. There are many ways to join in a game and whether a child could make it has a direct relation to his or her socializing ability. Thus, attention should be paid to it.This thesis takes the manners that the 5-6-year old children joining a game as the subject of study and applies the direct observational method and specific case study as the basic research methods. In this way, this thesis makes a thorough analysis of the motives, manners, different results as well as the influential factors of the children’s games in the regional activities and comes up with several specific suggestions concerning the manners to join a kindergarten regional activity.The study finds that children from a higher class have a definite motive when choosing to join in a specific activity region and the frequency of join-in-a-children-game has a close relation with the genres of the activity region. In a join-in-a-children-game, the rate of success is in proportion to the use of positive words. The study also finds that the mostly applied manner in a join-in-a-children-game event is by words and the activity of joining in the game takes a short time. There are rare cases that children apply multiple manners to join in a game. This thesis also makes a thorough analysis concerning the success rate of join-in-a-children-game and other influential factors that affect the event.Through a thorough and profound research, this thesis comes to the conclusion that the regional activity’s environment and the gender of the children are all influential factors of the manners in join-in-a-children-game event. Based on this, the author of this thesis offers some practical suggestions about the issue and taking the setting of the activity zone, the arrangement of the related materials, the instructions from the kindergarten teachers as well as the children’s parents into consideration.
