With the progress of society people pay more and more attention to the development of education, but education quality is the key to the teacher of ascension. Since the 1980 s for the research of teacher’s teaching ability has not stopped, experts and scholars from different angles to explore how to enhance the ability of teaching. Especially in today’s, with the deepening of new curriculum reform, under the traditional education concept of teaching ability has already cannot adapt to the requirement of era development. This article is precisely under the background of new curriculum reform, sorting out and analyzing relevant theories about the ability of teacher’s education teaching research, and through the way of questionnaire survey, tries to find problems in the new period of teachers’ teaching ability factor, and targeted puts forward some countermeasures to improve teaching ability of teachers.This paper introduced the paper selected topic background and significance, as well as the achievements and status quo of research on teaching ability both at home and abroad, in combination with effective teaching theory, the theory of multiple intelligence, humanism theory, on the basis of advanced theories, research methods and research idea of this article are put forward.In the practice background of new curriculum reform, this paper, through the method of questionnaire survey, the understanding of the present situation of Yan’an middle school teachers’ teaching ability. According to the survey results show that the Yan’an in junior high school teachers teaching the main teaching ability is not strong, the education idea lag problems such as insufficient, improper teaching method and teaching experience. The systematic analysis of the current existing problems, and from the teacher’s individual factors and external factors analyzing on the problems existed in the teacher’s teaching ability. In view of the teachers’ knowledge structure, self development consciousness, and occupational stress, the appraisal system is imperfect, this article from the perspective of teacher professional development, from two aspects of teachers themselves and rational external control to improve the teachers’ teaching ability. Teachers through self-reflection, differences in teaching, extensive cooperation and strengthen their professional skills to realize their own quality improvement; Reform of teacher evaluation system, pushing system at the same time practical increase of teachers’ continuing education training, schools administrative support from the external environment such as teachers’ support and help.A lot of research in the current for teachers’ teaching ability, but the study of Yan’an junior middle school teachers’ ability to ascend is relatively less. The research of this paper is to supplement and complete the development of the teachers’ teaching ability, hope to help education managers develop teachers’ teaching ability.
