In the information age, writing has become the essential ability of every citizen. In the course of implementing the curriculum, improving the students’ writing ability has become the hot spot for the experts and teachers’ research.. Various methods of teaching writing to be too numerous to enumerate, a positive role in a certain period. There are still many problems in the teaching of high school Chinese language, which is applied to different regions and different learning situation.In view of this situation, the author uses the theory and practice of combining method, according to the "ordinary high school language curriculum standards(experimental)" senior high school students writing ability and writing teaching requirements, through the practice observation and questionnaire survey of Yan’an middle school, Yan "an experimental middle school, Yan’an University Affiliated middle school of three secondary high school students writing the status of on-the-spot investigation and research, literature based on the widely collected, from the student’s writing psychology and writing learning needs as a starting point, the local high school students writing ability of the actual situation and the promotion strategy has carried on the preliminary discussion.This thesis firstly reviews the history and current situation of the research on the improving strategies of the students writing ability, and points out the disadvantages and the reasons for this study.. The second part, from the perspective of new curriculum standards, the scientific connotation of the students writing ability, and points out the necessity and new requirements of the thesis. In the third part, the paper analyzes the local questionnaire and expounds the reasons for the problem of the senior middle school students writing.. The fourth part is the key content of the full text, combined with the investigation to the local high school students writing to improve the proposed method and effective strategy. Research on promotion strategy of the senior high school students’ writing ability, not only contributes to the progress of the students’ writing ability, also help in writing teaching ideas of upgrade and update, the writing teaching to the majority of high school students and front-line language teachers have important value and significance.
