The Approach Study Of Social Work Intervention In Retired Military Service In Chong Qing

With the development of era, social work is playing an important role in the modern social welfare system and increasingly become dominant professional force of the social service. Social work considerably influence the community, hospitals, schools and many other fields. Among those fields, the Retired Military service becomes an important area of social work intervention due to its own characteristics.The Retired Military cadres include those who leave the military or retire from military. Social services for this particular old-age have a certain social significance. The Retired Military cadres contributed to the country, the society in youth. So they deserve service when they are old. Through the intervention of social work, the diverse demands of Retired Military cadres can be satisfied better, and the work pressure of the Arrangement Office for Military Retire Cadres can also be eased. Those social services can really make the Retired Military cadres supported.This paper uses the Observation method, interview method which is commonly used in the social investigation. This paper is based on visit and observation of the Arrangement Office for Military Retire Cadres in Chongqing. Using Y Arrangement Office for Military Retire Cadres as a representative, the paper is also based on the depth interviews with the Retired Military cadres,social workers and other staff.Our purposes are knowing the current social work Intervening situation of the Retired Military service in Chongqing and summarizing its main path mode. Through the in-depth case studies, we can summarize the different dilemma and the reasons behind when Chongqing social workers chose their different intervention patterns. At the same time, through the analysis of existing literature and interview, combining with the experience of a line of social workers and professional supervision, we try to give corresponding policy suggestions for the dilemma of different path selection.we expect the research above can promote the perfection of the Chongqing Retired Military social work.
