| Well-being derives from individual’s subjective feeling, it not only relevant to the individual’s economic income and employment status, but also associate with social environment. This study applies depth interview to determin the structure’s concrete connotation of urban residents’ subjective well-being, on this basis to study the urban residents’ subjective well-being. Moreover, this study deeply analyzes the influencing mechanism between various factors and urban residents’ subjective well-being. Based on the theory research and analysis, this study defines the connotation of city personality and stud ies the impact that the city personality cognition put on the subjective well-being. At last, this study analyzes the relationship between various influencing factors, city personality cognition and urban residents’ subjective well-being, in order to provide guidance to improve urban residents’ subjective wel-being.This study brings the various factors, city personality cognition and urban residents’ subjective well-being into a uniform analysis framework, establishes a conceptual model to show the influencing mechanism between various factors and subjective well-being that based on the perspective of city personality cognition. Based on the depth interview, this study determins the structure’s concrete connotation of urban residents’ subjective well-being, tries to develop the subjective well-being scale and city personality cognition scale, applies exploratory factor analysis to determin the structure of urban residents’ subjective well- being and city personality cognition; According to the difference analysis, discusses the distribution difference of the core concepts on demographic variables and organizational background variables. Based on the theory analysis, classifying the factors which effect subjective well-being into economic development factors, social insurance factors and life factors, furthermore, according to measure the importance degree, current value and future development trend to discuss the impact that put on the subjective well-being; applying multiple regression analysis to analyze the forecast difference between different influencing factors and subjective well-being. In addition, this study applies hierarchical regression analysis to discuess the action mechanism that the influencing factors put on the urban residents’ subjective well-being and the moderating effect of the city personality cognition. The findings are as follows:Urban residents’ subjective well-being present three dimensions: positive affect, negative affect and life satisfaction; Based on the analysis of big five personality model, the city personality cognition can be divided into five dimensions, including city inclusion cognition, city intellectuality cognition, city obligation cognition, city agreeableness cognition and city creativity cognition.Each dimension of urban residents’ subjective well-being has different prediction power to the overall subjective well-being, and they all can fundamentally predict residents’ subjective well-being, the negative affect has the most predictive power to the subjective well-being and life satisfaction has the least predictive power to the subjective wel-being.Each factor is the important variable to influence urban residents’ subjective well-being and they all have positive impact on subjective well-being; various factors have significant difference on urban residents’ subjective well-being, among this, the life factors can fundamentally affect residents’ subjective wel-being.The five dimensions of city personality cognition have moderating effect between the influencing factors and urban residents’ subjective well-being; they have positive moderating effect on the overall subjective well-being, positive affect and life satisfaction, have negative moderating effect on the negative affect.Combing with the research results, this study establishe s a model to promote urban residents’ subjective well-being from the two perspective of city and residents, which is based on city personality cognition. Giving some suggestions to promote urban residents’ subjective wel-being. |
