As China's aging population increasing severely,the effects of it gradually appear,and the elder people's life quality needs to be further studied.The Hui people who live mainly in the northwest regions of china are also getting aging.Because of their particular ethnic characteristics,the aged Hui people in the downtown areas have common religions,lifestyles,habits,customs,which make them distinguished from the other ethnics.The in-depth study of the overall living conditions of this group has important practical significance.Subjective well-being,an important standard of life quality,is a general emotional and cognitive assessment of the people's live.It can systematically reflect their emotions,and it is also a judgment of the satisfaction of life quality and other aspects.Comprehensive judgment.This paper is focus on the subjective well-being and reveal the normal living conditions of the elder Hui people in the urban areas of the northwest.The dimension division of the subjective well-being influencing factors in this dissertation is based on the three dimensions of subjective well-being related literature,combined with the actual needs of the study,research adjusted to suit the subjective well-being of the aged Hui nationality in the northwestern cities.,such as living conditions,family life,social support,and religious beliefs,and the specific transformation of these four dimensions into the four sub-scales of the subjective well-being of the aged Hui people in Northwest urban areas.The questionnaire is a combination of scales,and actively combing Chinese and foreign literature,drawing on the existing research results,combining the research topics of this article,and adding the special attributes of the respondents.Field surveys used large sample non-probability sampling methods such as questionnaires,household surveys,and in-depth interviews.In this study,SPSS19.0 statistical software was used to screen,process,and statistically describe the quantitative data of this article.On this basis,empirical analysis was conducted: using multivariate ordinal Logistic regression model and various chi-square tests to analyze the subjective well-being and itsinfluencing factors of the aged Hui people in Northwest urban areas;using ordered Logistic regression model and in-depth interview method to further The relationship between religion and the subjective well-being of Hui people in the northwest urban areas was analyzed in depth.The main contents of this study are: Based on the relevant literature and theoretical research,based on the background of aging population,combined with the life conditions of the elder Hui people in Northwestern cities and towns,put forward relevant hypotheses:the basic situation of describing the subjective well-being of Hui people in Northwest cities and towns.The factors affecting the subjective well-being of the aged Hui people in the northwestern urban areas explore the relationship between the subjective well-being of the elderly Hui people in the northwestern region and religions.Based on this,they put forward relevant assumptions.First,the aged Hui people in the northwestern towns are faithful to their religious beliefs,so they weaken the influence of demographic variables such as age,gender and marriage on subjective well-being.Second,religious beliefs have a positive effect on the subjective well-being of the aged Hui people in Northwest cities and towns.Quantitative and qualitative methods are used to conduct empirical research from the perspective of demographic variables,living conditions,family life,and social supports.Ultimately,the hypothesis is validated.The findings revealed that the main factors such as living conditions,family life,social supports,and religious beliefs all had a significant impact on the subjective well-being of the aged Hui,while other demographic variables such as age,marriage,and occupation were also relevant to the aged Hui people subjective well-being has no significant effect.Based on this research,the following suggestions for improving the subjective well-being of the Hui ageing are proposed:(1)Promote the economic development of the minority areas in the northwestern cities and narrow the income gap of urban residents.(2)Further improve the old-age support of the Hui ageing in urban areas in northwestern China,and promote the integration of medical care and support in ethnic regions.(3)Enrich the cultural life of ageing people in the Hui nationality in northwestern cities and improve the spiritual and cultural level of ethnic minorities.(4)Adhere to the religion with Chinese characters,and promote thecombination of religion and socialism.
