Junior middle school education plays a key role in the whole education phase and math education is an vital part of it, so it is quite important to do a good job in junior middle school mathematics education. "Mathematics curriculum standard for compulsory education in 2011" emphasizes that math education must let everyone get equitable development. The students are the main body and the teachers are the organizers, instructors and cooperators in effective teaching, which is the unity of the students’ learning and teachers’ teaching. This is to say that teaching should base on students’ cognitive development levels and stored experiences. In this context, the author presents the studies on teaching by learning and the experiential Teaching-Learning in secondary school Math teaching, aiming to cultivate students’ active learning ability, stimulate students’ learning interest, form a good habit of active learning, improve learning efficiency, and experience the joy of learning.In this paper, the main content is divided into the following five parts:Part 1 is instruction. In this part the author mainly discusses mathematics learning situation of junior middle school students, analyzes the reasons and points out the the necessity of study in this paper.Part 2 mainly contains the current status of research in domestic and abroad and the definition of related concepts. Explain the definition of "Student-oriented Teaching" and " Experiential Teaching" and trace the historical development of them. Put forward the teaching model of this research which contains seven basic steps: study detection, Secondary preparation, introduction situation, cooperation and exchange, experience assessment, mind mapping, and Teaching Reflection.Part 3 is the theoretical foundation containing philosophy, psychology and teaching theory that provide the theoretical guarantee for this study.Part 4 is concrete teaching process research. Combined with education practice, the author respectively discusses teaching design, teaching model and case presentations, and analyze related data.Part 5 is research results. Draw a conclusion that this kind of teaching model is effective and reflect on shortage of this teaching mode.
