Resilience is the characteristic refers to the individual well adapt to the adversity and do not produce the negative reaction such as stress disorder. Inferiority is the psychology refers to the individual are not satisfied with themselves, their circumstances or conditions of the self exists, therefore they will have negative evaluation on themselves.Study confirms that resilience is closely related to mental health,and that inferiority has relationship with resilience:for the two have influence on mental health,but the level of energy and direction of force application just on the contrary.But the exact relation and the mechanism of reaction is still unknown. So far there is a little research especially the empirical study about the relationship between resilience and inferiority.So study the relationship between resilience and inferiority,the mechanism of reaction have important implications. College students is the social main forces, but there is a little research especially the empirical study too about the relationship between resilience and inferiority of college students.The research have important significance.Research using the Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC) and the feelings of inadequacy scale(FIS) to measure 380 college students to explore the exact relationship between resilience and inferiority, the level of them divers when students have different background. The results show that: college students’ resilience negatively correlated with inferiority, total score and each factor have significance relation; the college students’ resilience level is lower than the national norm,so as to inferiority, but no significant difference; the level of resilience and inferiority divers when students have different background the differences is significant.Following methods can reduce the inferiority and enhance the level of college students’ resilience: first, build a sound vertical support system, reduce the inferiority to improve resilience;second, to promote cognitive psychology theory, correction the cognitive to their family background, gender, professional and setbacks to improve resilience; Third, to carry out the effective resilience training to enhance theirconfidence and improve resilience; Finally, optimize the recessive psychological health education to improve the students’ emotional quotient to improve their resilience.
