Problems And Countermeasures Of School Bus Safety Management

School bus, which is a new thing, has entered the category of educational administration. With the collaboration of the government and various functional departments, the school bus operation in our country has entered a stable phase, and basically solved the problem of parents who send the children to school. But in recent years, the school bus safety accidents occurred one after another, reflecting the problems in the management laws and regulations, policy support, hardware construction, capital investment, as well as operation and management of the school bus. School bus safety has a close relationship with tens of millions of students’ personal safety, and concerns the happiness of millions of families. Based on the elements of road traffic management, the author concentrates on the safety culture, safety system, safety measures, and safety risk and analyzes them deeply, who aims to solve the school bus safety management and provide a new perspective and a certain reference. This paper mainly consists of the following parts:The first part is introduction, which mainly describes the research background, purpose and the significance of the study as well as the research status and the research method.It also carries on the concept definition.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of school bus safety management in W district, which includes safety culture, safety system, safety measures, and safety risk, and then analyes the survey results.The third part mainly introduces the school bus safety management problems in W district and its causes. In the school bus safety management, the safety culture construction is not enough, the security system is not perfect, the safety management measures are not in place, the security risk assessment system and other issues and causes are analyzed.The fourth part mainly introduces the effective strategies,which includes how to create an atmosphere of safety culture, how to improve the security system, how to strengthen the security measures, and how to judge the safety risk factors.This paper tries to construct a new idea of school bus safety management from the perspective of educational management. By analyzing the current school bus management problems and causes, the paper puts forward the method of safety management which is oriented by the government and requires the collaboration of various functional departments. At the same time, in order to procedure and responsibility and to provide a new consideration for the school bus safety management, it also proposes the ideas of deepening the construction of safety culture, strictly enforcing the law, and carrying out the school bus safety supervision.
