So the paper tries to analyze the characteristics and structure of the students, using chart to show the status quo and development of the structure of the students, and to explore the main reasons for the change of the students, trying to find the influence and effect on the structure of students in the recruitment of both arts and science, the changes of different industries, students in the trend of localization, social demand, professional setting, students’ employment attitude, the consideration of employment prospects, etc.Based on the analysis of the market demand of students in Yan’an Vocational and Technical College, this paper finds that the reasons for the changes in the structure of the source of the students themselves, but also the impact of the development of the industry, the impact of the national policy on higher vocational students, and the candidates and their parents, the overall recognition of the whole society.
