Research On Solutions To College Students’ Psychological Rroblems

In this competitive society, college students are facing increasing challenges and pressures. These include learning difficulties, lack of social relationship, financial problems, and unemployment, each of which may bring them psychological disturbance.Once entering college, students are learning to adapt to new environment and to become self-independent. However, due to their lack of social experience and weak pressure-bearing capacity, students are prone to identity crisis, especially when facing adversities. The change of life style, influence of surrounding environment, and increasing pressure are easily to cause their change of values and opinions. Besides, cultural crash and huge chasm between rich and poor also have notable impact on students’ mind. Thus, in this very period, their psychological health is of great importance. This research is going to understand and analyze college students’ such complicated state of mind and thus to probe into causes from a psychological perspective. With the aim to properly tackle their psychological problems, this paper will hopefully offer some assistance to foster students’ psychology, and thus to ensure their comprehensive development. However, as for most current college psychological education, there is a lack of deep interpretation of students’ problems and confusion, let alone effective solutions. This paper will investigate college students’ behaviors and analyze causes to their psychological problems. It includes three chapters.The first chapter will give a theoretical introduction to college students’ psychological problems, and define psychological health according to related literature.In the second chapter, specific characters of their psychological problems and behaviors will be analyzed and causes deeply probed into. To guarantee a scientific and exact statement about the causes, the paper will provide a specific analysis of students’ family background, education, and individual development.Based on the previous study, the third chapter will bring forward practical suggestions and opinions. Specific solutions will be sorted out in consideration of the complex and prevalent psychological problems.
