The 21 st century is the era of full of challenge and competition. Its fierce not only embodies in economy, technology and culture, more mainly appearing in the talent pool, and education.Not only having the educational function of traditional sports, expansion training can also make students to stimulate individual potential, strengthen the team vitality, cohesion and creativity in the progress of solving problems,accepting challenges, so as to attain training purpose of hone the will, edify sentiment, perfect personality, smelting team.Adopted the effect expansion training on middle school students’ social adaptation ability as the research object, based on the experiential learning theory, this article uses the literature material, interview, comparison, observation and mathematical statistics and other methods to study the effects on the middle school students’ social adaptation ability made by expansion training. Selecting 240 middle school students as subjects respectively from junior high school of foreign languages in Wuxi city and suburb of Changzhou school(experimental group 120 people, control group 120 people,40 people of each group respectively Grade 1,Grade 2,Grade 3),this essay uses< the social adaptation ability diagnosis scale>compiled by ri-chang zheng, doctoral supervisor of the Beijing normal university and the professor of institute of psychology, respectively tracking survey between the experimental group(training training) and the control group(do not use expansion training training), the results showed:Through the trust back wall, excellence, through the grid, survival and ray matrix, jigsaw puzzle, island to survive and so on a day expand raining training, and ice warm-form a team-project experience-summarize and sharing experience, expansion training has a good effect on middle school students’ ability of social adaptation, which can effectively improve middle school students some social adaptation abilities such as handling peer relations, self management, learning, obedience and so on.
