| Purpose : By studying the present situation of fostering basketball talents in Zhejiang Province, this paper intend to build theory support for the female basketball development in Zhejiang province. Methods: Adopting literal reference, questionnaire investigation, experts interview and logical analysis, this paper investigated the training situations of 8 sports schools in Zhejiang province. Conclusion :(1) The age structure of the young athletes is irrational. The number of athletes under 13 is comparatively smaller. Most of them only being trained for 3 or 4 years. And they have little chance to compete and less time spend in studying.(2) Basic skills and physical capacity are the main factors that affect basketball talents training in Zhejiang Province.(3) There are significant difference in fostering basketball talents between provincial sports school and local city sports school. Besides athletes in provincial sports school spend less time in studying, provincial school are better than local school in all aspects of fostering basketball talents.(4) There are three problem about the coaching team : low academy tile, inexperienced in coaching and lacking advanced training theory. |
