The Study On The Transformation Of Scientific Research Achievement Of University-run Enterprises Based On The Project Life Cycle Theory

University-run enterprises, a special form of university-affiliated business and an active participant of market competition, has played an important role both in the transformation of university scientific research achievements and in the reinforcement of regional social development. Under the scenario of national investment in innovation-oriented development strategy, the function of university as the essential leading force in talent cultivation and knowledge dissemination has been further strengthened. Thus, universities are faced with both opportunities and challenges. With such new normal, university-run enterprises, backed by the key disciplines of its university and facilitated by the efficient transformation process of research achievements into productivity, will play a more constructive role in promoting national and regional economic development.Based on the research findings of domestic and foreign researchers, this paper adopts methods of literature research, comparative study, survey and case study and the perspective of project life cycle to divide the transformation process of research achievements into the following three parts: project initiation management, implementation management, summarization management. And then, this paper proposes the regular process for research transformation in university-run enterprises via establishing the specific function and methods of each phase.And the paper chooses the Chemical Equipment Co. Ltd. of Zhejiang University of Technology as the objective enterprise. The paper offers an in-depth analysis of the management mode and operational goals with a focus on the successful transformation of research achievements into the ZJUT High-Efficiency Urea Converter Tray project. The paper researches on the common problems and solutions occurred in the transformation process, discusses specific issues such as, risk management and control, economic benefits analysis and employee motivation etc., and verifies the scientificity and practicability of the transformation process.Via the main study on the transformation process of scientific research achievements in university-run enterprises, it is hoped that university-run enterprises, also immediate platforms for scientific innovation and research transformation, can contribute more in the transformation and upgrading of the enterprises themselves and lead to higher efficiency in the transformation process of university research achievements.
