The ability of self-regulated learning is significant to learners. In teaching practice, the author finds that most students’ ability of self-regulated learning is urgently needed to improve. In order to explore the effective methods to improve the middle school students’ ability of self-regulated learning, the author studied the impact of micro-video resources on the process of students’ self-regulated learning, and use quasi-experimental research methods to explore the following two aspects:Discuss the impact of micro-video resources on the process of students’ self-regulated learning; analyze the impact of micro-video resources on the effect of students’ self-regulated learning. The basic conclusions are as follows:1.To a certain extent the micro-video resources can promote students’ self-regulated learning ability, and the effect on students with learning difficulty is better than that on excellent students.2. On self-regulated learning effect, the result of analysis shows that the students in the experimental class take the learning tasks more seriously. With the help of micro-video resources, the learning effect of students with learning difficulty can be promoted obviously, and the reduction of the learning effect of excellent students can be prevented. As for the meaning, on one hand, this study found out the effect of the micro-video resources on the process of students’ self-regulated learning. On the other hand, this study contributes to the related research on rural middle school and rural students.
