With the changes of the elementary and middle schools sports curriculum in recent years, the physical education major should also be reformed timely to adapt to the schools’ teaching needs. Since the widespread implementation of long time between classes sport activities system, students’ quality has been improved greatly. Various forms of extracurricular sports activities had a great influence on cultivating primary and middle school students’ interest. At present, the Beijing municipal education commission has developed a new "one hour after class" activity, and make sure the primary and middle school students get exercised three times a week, and master a sport skill. Primary and middle schools have begun to plan and coordinate the physical education teachers and the Part time teacher for class.This also raised new requirements of students of sports education major. They not only asked to master the necessary techniques in class, but also should attach great importance to the optional courses opened by schools, mastering many skills while specializing in one. The optional courses opened in universities will have great influence on the students who will take on PE teaching. If the sports programs are needed in school activities had been opened in the universities, and the students chose these optional courses, they will be confident in the future teaching, and teach in proper methods. If the programs hadn’t been opened, the students will have difficulty in the future teaching.This paper had a study of the interns who major in PE education at the universities of Beijing by literature, comparative analysis, questionnaire investigation, interview and mathematical statistics method. By questionnaire investigation, to learn about how they satisfied with the optional courses, what courses they are interested in, and the courses they think should be canceled and so on. This paper also studied the favors and problems they met in the between class activities, after class activities, and the competitions they conducted during their teaching practice period. By interviewing the chief of physical education, to know about the extracurricular sports activities opened, and the requirements for physical education teachers, and then analyzing the problems, designing optional courses for PE majors, and coming up with suggestions to meet society and school’s demands.The study results are as below:First, the position of the college physical education major in the three colleges in Beijing is in the position of the cultivation object and the training specification, and there is the ambiguity.. Training specifications of three universities, only Capital Institute of physical education for students to achieve the special grade standard requiring of English and computers have mentioned, but not specific; Beijing University of physical education of special sport grade standard is not required, to foreign language and computer are not required; Beijing Normal University for special sports level is not required, on foreign languages and computers have mentioned but not specific. Three colleges and universities are not specificallnd, the three undergraduate colleges and universities physical education curriculum setting the total gate count still exists a certain gap, elective curriculum too little, student elective little flexibility, impede on the development of students.Third, three universities of undergraduate physical education major in elective courses offered in, primy to cultivate the students’art appreciation ability.Secoary and secondary schools required less technical type, more theoretical class, less new projects, almost no innovation project, can not meet the demand of primary and secondary school teaching. Suggestions:First, the cultivation of the target is located in the "compound talents" to meet the needs of the society and primary and middle school.. To develop the specifications, the addition of the national computer grade two, to reach the university English 2 standards, and the ability to have the art experience ".Second, we should integrate the curriculum, enrich the categories, extend the lesson to the outside class, cultivate students’independent innovation, improve the practical ability. Overall optimization principles are set according to the professional courses of physical education and college physical education course from the set of practical, professional, the characteristic and the talent market of improve the curriculum proportion, the structure is reasonable and scientific.Third, to achieve the goal of the curriculum, to help students engaged in physical education and sports teaching and sports activities, etc., with the quality of many sports teaching. There are of course is very important, but arranged in elective courses, in order to improve the teaching ability of the students majoring in physical education, should arrange to do such courses in compulsory course teaching, for example:sports game.
