Collectivism has what characteristics? How is the square dance collective building? This again with what the inevitable relation between square dance to participate in the group?To answer the above questions, this article first study probes into the square dance background, the study analyzes the current situation of square dance flourish;Then this study adopts qualitative research methods of case study, through interviewing method and questionnaire survey method of data collection method, S city three square dancing places for fieldwork.In this study, a square dance as the breakthrough point to discuss the contemporary recreational characteristics of the elderly, such as entertainment project price is low, close to home, can rise the demand characteristics in interpersonal communication.Dance in the square on the recreational activities, not only meet the contemporary recreational characteristics of the elderly, and it also reflects the collective characteristics, such as show the collectivist cultures, thinking and action consciousness such as external characteristic, also show the square dancing is the combination of the interest margin and geopolitical, authoritative internal logic characteristics of collectivism.And modern square dance show the characteristics of collectivism is the result of a square dance cohort effects.This study found that from the perspective of a square dance to participate in the group, a square dance is the expression of the cohort effect.And also reflect the collectivism in the cohort effect.Essentially, the contemporary phenomenon of square dance is a kind of people born in the 50 s with the help of a square dance form the framework of the process of reconstructing the concept of collectivism.This paper studies has certain theoretical significance and practical significance.In terms of theoretical significance, this research is not only a theoretical perspective and research method of the collective construction of innovation, and provided a new research perspective for the study of the square dance.In terms of practical significance, this article focuses on the elderly problems;To solve the problem of the elderly, to establish the socialist market economy under the condition of moral and ethical principles, has a certain practical reference value.To construct healthy elderly leisure style, meet the demand of the elderly provides reference value for research;How to correctly guide for mass collective activity provides the reference value.
