With the economic development and the raise of level of agricultural modernization, more and more rural labors detached from agricultural production and engaged in non-agricultural work.In the labor transfer, many of them are young patents who’s children are still in the stage of compulsory education. There is no doubt that the transfer of young parents will affect child’s welfare and education. On the one hand,the absence of father or mother roles in the family may have a negative impact on children’s welfare and education.Especially the absence of the mother role lead to the lack of love and care for children in their life and the lace of supervision and guidance on learning,which led them unsociable and learning difference. On the other hand,In the process engaged in non-agricultural jobs,the chance of education may increase along with the growth of knowledge,the change of concept and the improvement of the ability to invest in education.Existing literature’s study of factors educational decisions are mostly concentrated in personal, family economic conditions, parental educational background, etc. The transfer of rural labor is seen as an important factor affecting the family education investment decision in this article.Research literature on education decisions of parental roles lack family mostly limited to the description of the present situation and proportions.This article is based on the describe of the current situation and described the latest data on the application of Peking Chinese family follow-up survey of the empirical analysis and study the influences of patents’labor transfer for their children.This article is divided into the following sections:The first part:the Introduction. The background and significance of the selected topic, ideas and methods of the study are described in this section includes. The Innovation and shortcomings of this article were briefly introduced.The second part:literature review. In this part,we briefly introduced the human capital theory,which is the basic theory of education decision.On this basis, the study describes the existing literature on general factors of education decisions.Finally, the compulsory education decision factors were introduced and literature about how the absence of father or mother roles in the family influence educational decision were also involved.The third part:situation of rural compulsory education. First of all,we overview the status of rural compulsory education from the respect of the completion of compulsory education in rural areas,the reading of compulsory school-age children and the age of children entering school.Next,we described the status of the investment cost of education in rural areas from the respect of the rural education spending changes over the years,Compulsory education spending accounted for the proportion of total household spending and the Compulsory expenditure cost structure. Once again,we pointed out that investment in education of rural families are limited to monetary investments, less non-monetary investment from the perspective of the time parents spend on their children.At last.we described the situation of the labor transfer of young patents from the respect of the the proportion of the rural labor force transfer and their satisfaction with family status and life. The fourth part:models. Models may be used in the part of empirical analysis were introduced in this section.First introduced was the general model of family education decisions, including Becker’s neoclassical model and the Nash bargaining model family.On the basis of the classical family model, scholars in the practical application established empirical model of family education decisions based on research needs.Empincal model is derived based on household decision-making model for education family education demand equation. It is more operational during the empirical analysis process.Finally, the empirical Logistic regression models were also given a brief introduction.The fifth part:empirical research. We used the nationwide cross-sectional data of the sample of compulsory school-age children and the SPSS19 software process the empirical analysis. The explanatory variables included children age, sex, results,parents labor transfer,number of household.Control variables included parental education and household net worth.Explanatory variables is the child whether stay in school.Finally, analyze the impact of each explanatory variable on family decisions on compulsory education based on Logistic regression results. The sixth part:conclusions and policy recommendations.we come to the conclusions that status of rural compulsory education age children are still not optimistic,father labor transfer produce a positive impact on children’s education decisions,the inssscrease of the number of family has a negative impact on children’s education,Children’s personal achievements produce a positive impact on education decisions.On the basis of the conclusions,we make suggestions like improving the quality of teaching in rural primary and secondary schools,Focusing on the girl’s education,reasonable control of family size,development of regional economy to absorb surplus agricultural labor force,etc.
