Farmers are the principal part of the development of modern agriculture and the construction of the new Socialist countryside, the quality of agricultural practitioners is directly related to the development of modern agriculture and construction of the new Socialist countryside. In the "No.1 document" of central government of 2012, for the first time offered to "make great efforts to cultivate the new professional farmers", cultivating the new professional farmers are objective requirements of the development of modern agriculture, and also an inevitable choice to address the future "who’s farming" issues. Chengdu is the national urban-rural coordinated and synthetically reforming testing district, in August 2012, Chongzhou, Jintang, Pujiang was identified as national pilot counties of new professional farmers training, and started a new career in training. Regarding Chengdu new professional farmers’training as the example, this paper summarizes and analyzes the typical mode, deeply study the influencing factors of the training of supply and demand, which will help further improving the work of new professional farmers training in Chengdu, but also give some references and examples of practice for other cities construction of new training mode of professional farmers.The main type of new professional farmers’ training in Chengdu is the training of agricultural professional managers. On the basis of systematic review of the relevant theory and literature about the farmers’ training, this paper has deeply investigated Chengdu City agricultural career Manager training status, and based on the questionnaire investigation of participation career farmers training and training institutions, this paper analysed the supply-demand situation of new-type professional farmers’ training; and investigated agricultural career Manager training mode on pilot County such as chongzhou, and Jintang, and then summaried and refined the training mode of pilot County; and used theoretical analysis and empirical analysis on the combination of methods, studied the affecting factors of farmers’ participation in the training of professional managers. Finally, this paper presented the principles of construction of new-type professional farmers’ training and design ideas, system and security system based on the above findings and conclusions.Through above research, this paper figures out following research results and conclusions:(1) Agricultural wide school system, high forestry colleges system, and grass-roots agricultural technology promotion system are responsible for career Manager training work in the districts and counties of Chengdu city. The training work rends out to foster three significant features:agricultural career Manager for main target, Government for led, and full system formed preliminarily, it also exists with small funds support, feedback after training, the evaluation deficiency, slight weakness of practice, disjunction of students track, and lack of specificity of some training issues.(2) In the training of new-type professional farmers in Chengdu city, overall supplies appear insufficient gross, short training time and lack of continuity. The demand for features shows to improve the skills and knowledge for the purpose of learning management, training of comprehensive, on-site guidance and focus of combining classes and farmer training systems. Overall performance of supply and demand shows unbalanced, mainly lying in the total supply and total demand, government training and the expectations of farmers. These imbalances are mainly due to funding policies not in the right place, insufficient knowing of government to farmers’appeal, and low level of literacy of farmers.(3) Chengdu new-type professional farmers training mode belongs to the Government-led mode. Typical representatives are Chongzhou city "double training" pattern, Jintang County "surface+point" pattern and Pujiang college training pattern, which have its own characteristics, but differ in specific training objects, training institution and teachers, training methods and the content, and training funds. In terms of application, Chongzhou "double training" pattern relies on development of farmer organizations, intensive scale of operation; Jintang " surface+point " pattern has a strong promotion, and the key is to select local competitive industries; Pujiang college training pattern applies to local agricultural colleges and universities in the region.(4)Theoretically, the influencing factors of farmers’ intension to participate in vocational training are mainly as follows:personal factor, training systems and policy. Analyzing the survey data through a binary Logistic regression, farmer’s age, educational level, satisfaction with training courses and the training with help to the current work or not obviously impact their intension. New professional farmers’ training has to make rules of specific training objects selection. Training has to act according to circumstances, to fully understand the farmers’business needs, and should put more emphasis on how to improve the farmers’satisfaction with the training and improve training experience. Training has to combine with government policy supporting, and to enhancing the motivation.Therefore trying to meet their needs and providing effective training and continuously enhancing farmers’willingness of training are the measures to reach the goal to cultivate a large number of technical farmers with good operation of new-type professional farming.Aimed at the above theory and empirical research and analysis, this paper comes up with some aspects of construction of a new training mode of professional farmers and recommendations for the system design and system security. Construction of a new training mode of professional farmers must follow the principle of applicability, validity and sustainability. The construction idea should be led by the Government and market-oriented to realize elements of optimum synergy. Moreover, aspects on target selection, training implementation and certification of management system should be designed to be reasonable. At the same time, it is required to well establish the leader management system, enhance the system of laws and regulations in the new-type professional farmers training, and build up the policy of multiple investment.
