Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform, it has required teachers to change their teaching ideas. The teaching aims have been changed from traditional knowledge goals to new 3D target, which requires the teachers should pay attention to knowledge and put the cultivation of students’ ability on the main position at the same time. The purpose of it is to enable students to develop in an all-round way. Therefore, this new teaching method of the group teaching is more and more remarkable and welcome.The thesis is based on the analysis on the rural middle school students’learning and teachers’teaching situation, which is surveyed in Yongji No.4 Senior High School, Jilin province. And through reading large amounts of data, we can get detailed understanding of the grouping teaching characteristics as well as the main problems. We should explore the application scheme of group teaching in rural middle schools’ physics teaching, namely form a study group, design the learning scheme, set up the evaluation system, choose cooperation opportunity and summarize the grouping teaching measures for the implementation and design process. In the physics classroom of teaching practice of Yongji No.4 Senior High School, we have analyzed group teaching mode packet through the typical case. With timely reflection and modification, comparative experiments were carried out between two classes. And after a semester, by comparing the grade of these two classes, it is proved that the grouping teaching in rural middle school has a good application prospect, which can improve students’ academic performance; and by designing a simple questionnaire, the survey showed grouping teaching has played a positive role in developing students’communication ability, team cooperation ability and language expression ability.This study which is based on physics teaching focuses on the application prospect and the implementation of the program of group teaching in rural middle schools of which the foundation is relatively poor and has positive effect on improving students’ quality and grade. Along with the trend of the education reform, it provides the basis for the teaching of the physical education in the rural middle school.
