A new round of curriculum reform is the core concept of student-centered, One aspect of the new curriculum reform is to cultivate students’self-learning ability and improve the scientific literacy of students. In the process of achieving this goal, not only to enable students to acquire knowledge, but also to guide the students learn basic learning method, cultivate the students’interest in learning, change "want me to learn" to "I want to learn". In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to cultivate students’ reading ability. To improve students’ reading ability, learning can quickly extract useful information, solve problems efficiently, enhance their confidenceIn the process of reading the literature, it is found that the reading ability is mostly in English and Chinese, while the research on the reading ability of science is rare. Combined with teaching practice, many students lack the ability to read, and can not understand the problem in a short time to provide information, the problem can not be solved in a short time. In addition, the college entrance examination chemistry examination reading amount of information increase, pay attention to test students’ information integration ability and application ability of comprehensive analysis, because the majority of students interest in learning is not high, self learning ability is poor, weariness. In order to let the students play a normal level, improve the students’learning enthusiasm, on the one hand, students need to master the basic skills of learning, on the other hand, students should improve their reading comprehension ability, and help students get effective information in limited time, and they can use the knowledge to be applied, so that students can have a sense of achievement in psychology, so as to improve the interest of chemistry study.This study combined with the actual teaching situation, select a middle school students in Guangshui Province, Hubei Province, two classes of students, the use of classroom observation and interview survey method to analyze the weak students’ ability to read, for how to improve the students’ ability to read the problem of chemistry.The first chapter describes the background, significance, domestic and foreign research status and research contents and methods of the research. The second chapter is the theoretical basis of the study, the theoretical basis of the study, the theoretical basis of the research, the theoretical basis of the research, the theoretical basis of the research, the theory of constructivism, cognitive psychology, cognitive psychology, the third chapter is the investigation of students’ reading ability. The fifth chapter is to improve students’ reading ability. And the conclusion of the existing problems, to put forward the future research.The innovation points of this research are two points:(1) the ability of information acquisition and finishing ability is one of the ability of lifelong learning, reading ability is the key step to obtain information. (2) based on the original theoretical research to find a more suitable student’s method, the operation is strong, and it is useful to improve the students’ reading ability and chemical learning.
