Recently, as new force, the young teachers in Colleges and universities are becoming the main force in the development of higher education, are already playing a key role in the university teachers. However, the young teachers are facing severe survival situation and occupation plight, such as job stress and traffic jam of academic titles. If things continue this way, it will neither be propitious to the growth and vocational development of the young teachers, nor to the quality of the construction of the university teacher groups. Finally, it will affect future long-term development of our country’s higher education higher education long-term development. In view of this, using career success as a topic, the starting point and end result of career development, based on the answer to the question "how do young teachers define the career success", this paper discusses the effects of personal psychological capital and social capital on the career success of young teachers. Firstly, based on the practical and theoretical analysis, this paper constructs the model of career success evaluation standard for the young teachers. After that, based on the model, through item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, this paper develops the youth teacher subjective career success scale, which is composed of two dimensions and includes thirteen items. Secondly, this paper uses correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the research hypothesis proposed about the effects of individual psychological capital and social capital on career success for young teachers, the results show:(1) The psychological capital of young teachers has a significant positive impact on the number of high quality papers, the number of high level projects and subjective career success; (2) The social capital of young teachers has a significant positive impact on the number of high quality papers, the number of high level projects and subjective career success; (3) The interaction effect of young teachers’psychological capital and social capital has a significant positive impact on the number of high quality papers, the number of high level projects and subjective career success. Finally, according to the conclusions of empirical research, this paper puts forward the macro and micro level careers development strategies for young teachers.
