With the promulgation of "opinions on strengthening the construction of teachers", there are a series of standards have been introduced to improve the professional development of teachers, these marks the issue of teacher professional development has been put on the agenda. Professional development of secondary vocational school teachers is refers to:That teachers in secondary vocational schools in the environment of external guidance and incentive and creating, through take the initiative to learn and efforts to obtain the improvement and the development of their professional knowledge, professional ability and professional quality. The professional development of secondary vocational school teachers is the need of the sustainable development of secondary vocational schools and their own growth.This study is based on the background of "professional development standards for secondary vocational school teachers(for Trial Implementation)", uses the literature method, the questionnaire survey method and so on. A survey of full-time teachers professional development of 13 secondary vocational schools in Hebei province, And using the SPSS19.0 statistics software to carry on the present situation, the difference and the correlation analysis to the teacher professional development, based on the data analysis, it puts forward the countermeasures to promote the professional development of secondary vocational school teachers.Specific research conclusions are as follows:1. The professional development of secondary vocational school teachers meets the requirements of the standard and the overall development is more balanced.2. There are great differences in the professional development of teachers in secondary vocational schools.3. There is a certain correlation between the cognitive status and the status of implementation of the professional development of teachers in secondary.At the end of the study, we are put forward some suggestions of promoting the professional development of vocational teachersfrom that two aspects of internal and external,One of about the teacher’s own efforts:1. Within the external promotion, enhance the professional philosophy and ethics of teachers.2. Keep reading, improve teachers’ professional knowledge system.3. Institute of planning and research, improve teachers’ professional ability. On the other hand is external support:1. To strengthen the construction of the communication with double teachers.2. Improve and perfect the mechanism of school enterprise cooperation occupation education.3. Construction of the system of teacher training level.4. Policy-making of balanced development.
