Thinking method of contest mathematics is not only the soul of mathematics contest but also its essence. Today, social concern of mathematics competition also increases year by year, annual mathematics competition can cause the attention of the entire education system, then for the contest of mathematical thought and method development and educational value put forward the research topic of this article.Based on the mathematics contest thinking method of high school,this thesis aims at classifying the thought and method to launch deep block-research.Then several classes of mathematical competition problems being closely linked to education value will be focused. In the third chapter, the block-research on the common solving approaches relating to contest mathematics of high school will be discussed, and the comparison method will be adapted to explore its educational value. In the fourth part, the typical problems in the competition will be mainly analyzed, so that the background and value of education can be understood. In the fifth part, the differences between the mathematics competition teaching and classroom teaching will be analyzed, and the relevant data will be used to demonstrate the educational value of mathematics competition. The sixth part, the innovation point of thispaper, will employ the past league papers of high school test to research its unique education value and the inner mathematical ability in every aspect, including those of league matches, winter-camp training, and team-training selection texts.Conclusions we draw from the research of competition: competition mathematics thought and method of teaching to the country, select and cultivate talent for mathematics plays a crucial role; in cultivating students’ exploration type of mathematical ability has made a great contribution. In some degree on stimulate the students’ interest in science and mathematics and cultivate the students’ creative thinking ability;conducive to the students to form the relates between the knowledge and the development of cognitive structure.
