Catharine is something that created by Fireworks artist using the aesthetic principle of change and unity, contrast and harmony, cadence and rhyme and integrating the beauty of the light, color, shape, sound. Catharine fits for the taste of children’s nature falling in love with bright color.The schematism of Catharine consists of something that it is the most easy for young children to perceive.Catharine is good material for young children to conduct aesthetic education, which can promote children’s aesthetic ability and creativity. Catharine is the symbol of happiness, joy, peace. what’s more, fireworks culture is the treasure of Chinese traditional culture. In the context of globalization, it is of great significance to abide by national culture personality and characteristics the same as to inherit and carry forward the Chinese traditional national culture.The children from A Kindergarten Class Higher 2 is the research object in this study.The study is to explore the application of Catharine as a series of Art resources in kindergarten art activity, using action research method as the main method. This thesis is composed of five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction part, which includesthe research origin, the research significance,the related concepts definition, the literature view.The second chapter is the part of study design, which introduces the research background, the research methods and steps, data collection and coding, this section as the research of the preparation stage.The third chapter is the research process, namely the diagnosis stage- planning phase- the first round of action stage- the second stage, presenting the research process.The fourth chapter is the discussion and analysis of the findings, which summarizes the results of the study, using growth from children, collaborators and researchers. Catharine as art resources applied to the kindergarten art activity is analyzed. As a result it can be put forward in kindergarten.The fifth chapter is the last part. from the part, we can get these information: At first, Catharine as art resources applied to the kindergarten art activity is meaningful, what’s more, The application of Catharine as art resources in kindergarten art activity affected by many factors, such as teacher and leader in kindergarten.For teachers applying the fireworks art resources in art activities in kindergarten, the author put forward the following suggestions: For teachers: to improve teacher’ professionalism in the teaching of art, mainly includes: on the one hand, strengthen the study of the art theory, improve teachers’ art appreciation teaching practice ability. On the other hand, improve teachers’ cultural literacy fireworks. For leader: emphasize the education of national culture, attache great importance to the development and utilization of curriculum resources with Chinese national characteristics, unite with social institutions to carry out activities visit fireworks base, Actively promote cooperation with parent, to update their concepts.
