The School-based Research Of Mathematics Activity Teaching In Reform School

Reform education is rarely known by the public. The definition of reform education is also very vague according to the documents from Education Department, which only mentions reform education as a supplement to the compulsory education and a special education. This is mainly due to the specificity of the students. The teaching activities of the reform school is decided by the students’ learning situation.The thesis is based on “ the reform education is also the quality education”, that is presented by our school principal Mr. Ma at the national reformatory school confrence in 2003. This paper has carried on a comprehensive study. Firstly, analyze the background of mathematics activity teaching put forward by reform education and reform schools. Secondly, through defining the concept of activity teaching, studying the theory, and comparing with the teaching activities that had been carried out by ordinary schools, propose the feature and principle of mathematics teaching activities in reform school. Thirdly, analyze the present situation of the mathematics teaching of the reform schools that have carried out the mathematics teaching activities through the questionnaire survey, literature analysis and interview. Summarize the experience and deficiency of each school.Finally, the author introduce several teaching activities that suit the reform school in detail, which are combined with the research of teaching practice in recent years and the theories above.Through the research and the teaching practice, the author believes that the teaching activities proposed by this paper can help the students to get rid of the learning status of being lazy and careless in class. They can also help students to find the pleasure of learning in mathematics classroom and to foster the confidence in the process of learning mathematics.
