With the accelerated development of the times and science and technology, the professional ability of the head teacher is more and more valued by the society and the parents. Also with the deepening of the national vocational education reform, teacher team construction of standardized and scientific, circles and the departments in charge of education began to secondary vocational school head teacher professional ability as the key research object. The construction of the head teacher team with professional quality and scientific management method plays an important role in training the technical personnel of our country. The concept of the new age and education requirements of secondary vocational school head teacher in charge work complies with the trend of the development of education, improve their professional ability, professional as the way of development, to achieve the comprehensive development of the secondary vocational school students.In the recent years, the research topic about the teacher’s professional development has gradually increased, but the research on the professional ability of the head teacher in charge of the secondary vocational and technical school is very little. To improve the head teacher professional level and professional quality of head teachers must be required to enhance the professional competence of head teachers, but also marks the head teacher professional development to mature. So in this paper, the problem of Chengdu City, a secondary vocational and technical schools as the object of study, by means of questionnaires and interviews, collect data and the existence of head teachers’ professional ability and careful induction arrangement, based on combined with Chengdu, a secondary vocational school head teacher’s education and teaching practice, management and other aspects of the existing problems, analysis of enhance the professional ability and Technological Schools Countermeasures and strengthen the effectiveness of the work of head teachers in charge of class of measures and programs and the Chengdu City secondary vocational and technical school head teacher professional ability development of feasible countermeasures are put forward.Through the first chapter is the introduction. Firstly, the paper introduces the meaning of head teacher professional development background and study ability, learning and summarizes the relevant literature, defined the relevant concepts, defines the concept of teachers professional ability, head teacher professional ability, vocational class director of professional ability in detail. In the second chapter, the author obtained by questionnaire survey and interview information, of Chengdu City, a secondary vocational and technical school enrollment scale, allocation of teacher, students, the employment situation, head teacher evaluation and management system, combines the theory and data, objective analysis and summed up the problems in the practice. In the third chapter, combined with the problems existing in the current situation of the development of vocational education and secondary vocational school head teachers’ professional ability, outstanding problems of vocational head teachers’ professional ability analysis, explore issues arising from the root, causes specific from the education background, training and self improvement of three dimensions were analyzed. In the fourth chapter, combined with the previous analysis find out the problems and causes of problems, targeted, on issues related to the proposed improvement suggestions and countermeasures.
