Since2009the national implementation of a series of incentive policies to secondaryvocational education, secondary vocational education in China has made great achievements,conveying a large number of talents with professional skills for all sectors of society eachyear. Future development of secondary occupation education will pay more attention to thequality of talents, which is a challenge for educators. Class teachers as the mainimplementation of management work of the secondary vocational students, are the backboneof ideological and moral education of vocational school students, are leaders of the healthygrowth of students, must have the professional ability of class teachers, in order to doeducational work.Most of the secondary vocational school teachers who are contact in the work of theauthor is not normal college graduate, they often don’t accept systemic and centralizedlearning of education theory, lack of education practice experience. In addition, lackage ofattention to and study on the work of the teacher professional for a long-term,so now manyteachers hold the traditional concepts of education, class management work is still in the stageof empiricism, eventually lead to the ineffective class work, work effect is not obvious. Inorder to solve the problems existing in the class management in secondary vocational teacherfundamentally, we should pay more attention to the cultivation of professional ability of classteacher, there is a need for improving the professional ability in scientific and effective way.Based on the four secondary vocational school in Weihai, research on the investigationof present situation about class teachers’ professional ability development in secondaryvocational school in Weihai area, found that the development of class teachers’ professionalability exists the following problems: The lack of class construction, management ability;and parents, corporate communication ability; occupation guidance ability of students isinsufficient; the effectiveness of moral education to students is not obvious. Combined withquestionnaire to analyze the existing problems, and put forward countermeasures to developprofessional skills of class teachers: the establishment of an effective class teachersrecruitment, appraisal system; establish, perfect training mechanism of class teachers; makeatmosphere to lead class teachers of independent development; the establishment of the"academic-practical" class teacher team.
