A Practice Study Of The History Inquiry Activity Course In The Senior High School

In 2003, the ministry of education issued "the ordinary high school history curriculum standard(experimental edition)".According to this standard, there was a major adjustment of the high school history textbooks in 2004. one of the main characteristics is the set of exploration activity. A number of exploration activities are arranged in both compulsory and optional History textbooks(People’s Education Press). This arrangement on the one hand is advantageous to the play of student’s role as learning subject and cultivation of innovative talents, on the other hand also poses challenges to the school and teachers.The new curriculum reform has been more than ten years. Many scholars and teachers have studied already, but the opening of history exploration class is still a subject that needs us to continue to explore. In this paper, let’s take the school in which the author is teaching as an example to try to have a case study on the opening of history exploration class.This paper expounds from four aspects: first, to discuss the background of opening high school history exploring activity, including the development of exploration activity abroad, the development of domestic activity courses and the meaning of opening history exploration class.Second, take Changsha experimental middle school as an example to explore the current situation of the opening high school history exploration activities, the activity type and the implementation.Third, in the form of case study to present the history exploration activity class that is open in Changsha Experimental Middle School, and to analyze the gain and loss. In the end, through the previous implementation, presentation of typical cases and the author’s experience, etc. to summarize the problems and suggestions in the implementation of high school history exploring activities in order to provide a references for similar schools in carrying out the exploration activities.
