The autonomous enrollment examination is an enrollment model of explorating the implementing various forms in Chinese College and University Admission. It is also one of the important way to select talented persons and improve the enrollment of colleges and universities in our country. It can provide more opportunities for the candidate with special talent for an entrance examination. This paper, by using literature study method, mathematical statistics method and comparative study method, taking the examples of the physical parts from the 6 sets of New Curriculum Phisical Comprehensive of college entrance examination and “Hua Yue”、“Bei Yue”、“Zhuo Yue” papers between the year of 2010 and 2015, aims to compare the autonomous enrollment examinations with the ordinary college entrance examinations and explores the similarities and differences among them. This paper analyzes the autonomous enrollment examination and the physics test of college entrance examination from the aspects of the basis of proposition, the principles of proposition, the goals of the tests(including the main point, knowledge structure, problem solving method,thinking method).The goals of the tests are the core content of this research.By comparison and analysis of the above content, this paper draws the conclusion that: in terms of coverage of knowledge, the autonomous enrollment examination containsa certain number of core test items of the ordinary college entrance examination.The proportion of the subject of mechanics is over 50 percent;theproportion of the subject of electromagnetics is about 30 percent; as for the subject of themology,optics,modern physics, they account for a rather low proportion and make no big difference among one another.The key point and the degree of distinction mainly lie on the general physicalknowledge extending from the college entrance examination to university.At present,there is no syllabus of the autonomous enrollment examination, but the level of difficulty of the autonomous enrollment examination tends to be stable and ranges from the ordinary college examination to the physical contest.In terms of the test of problem solving method and thinking method, the autonomous enrollment physics examination has higher requirements for the problem solving method and thinking method for students compared with commonentranceexamination.Besides,the autonomous examination pays more attention to students’ ability of how to acquire new knowledge and to solve practical problems.
