“Change the students’ learning methods, achieve the reform of talent cultivation”, is one of the most important viewpoints in contemporary education, and in junior high school history examination, the investigation of historical comprehensive ability also is becoming increasingly important in recent years. However, there have many problems, for example, the junior high school history always exists obvious examination-oriented, students think that they can achieve high scores through reciting history textbook, and low exploration ability and so on. How to motivate the junior high school students’ learning initiative, achieve the goal of “Impetus motivating capacity, capacity promoting impetus” becomes an important problem which both history scholar and junior high school history teacher should think over. But flipping classroom teaching mode restructures teaching process, this reversal of the traditional teaching methods—with lecturing done outside class time and tutoring or homework during class time, it helps students to learn by exploring actively instead of accepting passively, and adapts the requirements in junior high school history teaching exactly right.In full understanding of the characteristics of junior high school students, referring to many of flipping classroom teaching mode related materials, after researching application situation of flipping classroom in junior high school, writer designs, develops the flipping classroom curriculum in junior high school history, carrying out the application research of flipping classroom teaching. Writer inspects courses design through practice, and improves courses continually, verifies flipping classroom teaching mode can improve students’ comprehensive abilities finally, meanwhile, also hope the mode can release the contradiction between history teaching and history examination in junior high school at a certain extent.The article consists of five parts: The first part is exordium, introduces research background, research meaning, research methods, signification of applying the Flipping Classroom in junior high school history teaching, and relevant summarization; The Second part is overview of flipping classroom teaching mode, includes the basic concept of flipping classroom teaching mode, origin and development, characteristics, and theoretical basis of flipping classroom; The third part is research application of flipping classroom in the junior high school history teaching, introduces the previous preparation of flipping classroom in history teaching application during junior high school, and application design; The fourth part is teaching case of flipping classroom in junior high school history; The fifth part is later summarization, problems occurred and measures.
