Constructing a scientific, comprehensive practical teaching method adaptable to future profession is an effective way to solve the problem of dislocation of curriculum provision and talent training mode from social needs in higher vocational colleges. It is the best way to cultivate a new type of applied talents needed by market economy. The teaching method is also the focus of attention in the fields of teaching research and practical teaching in higher vocational colleges of the new century.As the practical teaching is a key element of talent training in higher vocational colleges, the paper deals with the problems of talent training goal, main bodies involved in practical teaching and the relationship between the main bodies, putting forward a new viewpoint of “three main bodies” teaching method in higher vocational education, by virtue of the recognition of higher vocational talent cultivation, i.e. colleges are the organizing bodies of teaching activities; students are the learning bodies; enterprises are the bodies of absorbing graduates. The innovation of idea provides us with a new practical approach to correctly understanding and guiding the talent cultivation activities in higher vocational education. On this basis, the practical teaching system of higher vocational education has been reconsidered and reconstructed. Following the guidance of the “three main bodies” perspective, the paper reveals the cause leading to the contradiction in higher vocational practical teaching, and puts forward the construction strategy of practical teaching system. In this paper, we are to analyze the specific design of practical teaching system, taking the actual construction of practical teaching system in a particular higher vocational college as an example, in terms of the major of character image design.The study of this paper, on one hand, conforms to the law of recognition, i.e. practice(the problems in practical teaching of vocational colleges)——theory(the idea of “three bodies” teaching method) ——re-practice(reconstruction of practical teaching system of “three bodies” method); on the other hand,the paper extricates itself from the mentality stereotype of exploring education within the limits of the college itself, and tries to seek an effective way to realize the goal of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges, from the perspective of looking at education outside of education. This is not only a beneficial theory exploration of the reform of higher vocational education, but also embodies the idea of promoting “harmonious society” by means of "harmonious education" in practical teaching.
