Ordinary Senior high Chinese curriculum standard(Experiment) put it forward clearly that senior high school’s Chinese curriculum should improve students’ Chinese attainments. The Chinese teaching activities of senior high school should make the students have strong language application ability, certain Chinese aesthetic ability and inquiry ability, and form a good ideological and moral quality and scientific and cultural quality. Classic literature reading is a part of the Chinese, by which teachers can help students to improve their Chinese attainments. However, we are now in a "Pan reading" era, when the paper literature is getting far away from us. In this case, the situation of senior high school students’ classic literature reading is worth worrying. This thesis mainly studies how to improve Chinese attainments by reading literary classics. This paper uses the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview, data analysis, summary, experiments and so on. The full text is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is to discuss the relation between classic literature reading and the high students Chinese attainments. In this part, first of all, to study the connotation of literary classics, figure out what is classic literature and then give a definition of classical works of literature, and to explore the characteristics of literary classics. And then, it studies the challenges that the classic literature reading faces with under the background of mass culture. Finally, it studies the connotation of senior high students’ Chinese attainments, so as to reveal the significance of literature classics reading to improve the Chinese attainments of senior high school students.In the second chapter, study the present situation of senior high school students’ classic literature reading. First of all, conduct a survey of senior high school students’ classic literature reading situation. And then analyze the questionnaire data. The analytical results show that first, senior high school students have poor basis of classic literature reading; second, senior high school students reading habits are bad and they read with utilitarian; third, the network literature and the best-selling books have great impact to classic literature reading; fourth, the senior high school students have little time to read, also, they read less. This paper deeply analyzes the current situation.In the third chapter, the implementation strategy of improving the Chinese attainments of the classical reading is studied. Experimental study start from five aspects: first, to study the teachers’ role of the leading and guidance; second, to stimulate students’ reading interest; third, to seize the opportunity, from the classroom to extracurricular activities; fourth, introduce the incentive mechanism and recite the classics; five is to carry out regular reading exchange, to ensure the continuity of reading.The fourth chapter is to study the effect of the classic literature reading to Chinese attainments. The results of experiments show that the reading literary classics change the concept of studying, stimulate the interest of Chinese learning. The students develop a good language learning habits by reading literary classics; reading literature classics enrich the students language accumulation, improve the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, reading literature classics, life philosophy, students have a higher level of aesthetic ideas.
